According to a G-Granddaughtet in-law of Elizabeth Lockett, "Lizzie" Lockett already had Annabell (she was around the age of 3 years) when she married Henry Miller. Annabell referred to Henry as her stapfather....really doubtful if he legally adopted her back then).

Her real father was Calvin Cyrus who married Lizzie's cousin, Mary Ann Boxell: daughter of Rachel (Nelson) and William Boxell. Annabell Lockett, daughter of ELizabeth Lockett and Calvin Cyrus was born January 27, 1885 and Thomas Cyrus, son of Mary Ann Boxell and Calvin Cyrus, was born on October 5, 1885. Mary Ann Boxell's mother, Rachel (Nelson) Boxell and Lizzie's mother, Mary Elizabeth (Nelson) Lockett were sisters. Calvin and Elizabeth were never married.
